River Otter

We Are Open For Business!

Due to the stormy weather this time of the year, and the sun's lazy wake up time, our Kayak at Dawn activity is suspended until September. You can still kayak the river (depending on the weather), and are more than welcome to enjoy the winter with us.

Welcome to Chepu Adventures

Enjoy the magical landscapes of Chepu as part of a unique eco-experience. Hike, kayak, observe the wildlife, and relax with Chepu Adventures!

We invite you to visit us and immerse yourself in this very special spot on Chiloe Island, where you will be surrounded by a unique landscape and the company of birds, pudus, river otters and other species that will be your hosts while relaxing, kayaking or hiking.

Chepu Adventures was designed to protect our natural environment which in turn supplies our hot water and electricity. Our Eco-Lodge is an award-winning site of innovation in sustainable living and tourism, featuring alternative energy, solar showers, and low impact activities. Our guests participate in and learn about energy and water conservation — read about our Interactive Sustainability concept and policies — and can feel good knowing that their stay had a minimal impact on beautiful Chepu. Read about our latest sustainability projects, or better yet come see them in person!

Our Ecolodge sits on a breathtaking location facing the wetland and welcomes visitors on a journey where secrets, adventure, and magic are revealed between shades of light and shadow, songs of birds and silence, giving rise to mystical emotions.

Escape Chiloe weather in our eco-rooms for 2-3 persons, prepared lovingly for your comfort.

Taste our home-cooked cuisine with local organic products.

Enjoy kayaking at dawn on a river along a sunken forest and meet our local wildlife.

Come and visit us in this incredible spot on Chiloe Island in northern Patagonia!
